① force用作動(dòng)詞時(shí),為及物動(dòng)詞,意為“迫使,強(qiáng)迫,強(qiáng)加于”,結(jié)構(gòu)為:

The thief forced the window. 小偷破窗而入。

She was obliged to abandon that idea. 她被迫放棄那種想法。
