583　respected，respectable，respectful和respective

① respected受尊敬的，如年長者、權(quán)威性的意見等。

His book is a highly respected authority in physics. 他的書在物理界是一本深受尊敬的權(quán)威著作。

② respectable （deserving respect；quite good；showing or having good character and fair social position）相當(dāng)不錯的；（由于社會地位、財產(chǎn)等）受人尊敬的。
