① 表示“路，道路”。

on one's way to 往……的路上，接近

② 表示“方法，方式”，可用下列結(jié)構(gòu)：

way of doing sth.

way to do sth.

There is only one way of doing the work. 做這項(xiàng)工作只有一種方法。

He has no way to make money.

他沒(méi)有賺錢的手段。

He has no way for making money.

（不可說(shuō)way for doing sth.）

③ way+從句表示“方式”，有3種從句形式：①用that引導(dǎo)；②用in which引導(dǎo)；③省略that或in which，這種用法最為常用。比較：

I like the way that she talks. 我喜歡她談話的方式。
