take time 需要多少時(shí)間

take 后面如果接時(shí)間名詞的話就會(huì)變成“需要多少時(shí)間”的意思，由此衍生出的表達(dá)還有 it takes+時(shí)間+to ...(做某事需要多少時(shí)間)，how long does it take to ... ?(做某事需要多少時(shí)間?)等等。當(dāng)然，除了時(shí)間名詞之外還可以接 courage 等一般名詞。

例句：

It takes around 1 hour for me to get there.

去那兒大概需要 1 個(gè)小時(shí)。

It took me a long time to find you.

找你花了我不少功夫。

It looks like it'll take a lot of time.

看起來(lái)要費(fèi)很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間。

Hold on a moment. It won't take long.

稍等片刻，不會(huì)很久的。

Be patient. It takes time to get what you want.

耐心點(diǎn)。你想得到自己想要的，肯定得花一些功夫。

It will take a lot of courage to do that.

需要很大的勇氣才能做那件事。

對(duì)話：

A: It took David a long time to graduate.

大衛(wèi)花了好長(zhǎng)時(shí)間才得以畢業(yè)。

B: Yeah, he was in college for seven years.

他在大學(xué)待了7年。

我這個(gè)星期沒(méi)有打掃我的房間。
