　　Seeing as 因為是……正因為 (seeing that)

　　在提及自己所說內(nèi)容的理由時所使用的表達。主要使用的形式有 seeing that 主語+動詞或 seeing as 主語+動詞的形式。

　　例句：

　　There isn't going to be any class today, seeing as we have no teacher.

　　老師今天不在，看來不會上課了。

　　Seeing that you're the leader, I'd appreciate you saying something.

　　既然你是我們的領(lǐng)袖，我希望你能說點什么。

　　Seeing as you've got the most experience, I want you to take this.

　　既然你最有經(jīng)驗，那你來接管吧。

　　對話：

　　A: They are too busy to come to the meeting.
