If you make something by taking all of the, what we would call, ingredients or the things that you use to cook your food, 如果你使用食材或者炊具烹飪食物，

we would say you were cooking from scratch, "scratch." 我們就會(huì)說(shuō)你是從頭烹飪，“從頭開(kāi)始”。

To cook something from scratch means that you make the entire thing yourself. 從頭開(kāi)始烹飪食物意味著你一個(gè)人做整件事情。

Well, Lucy is not making cookies from scratch; she's using ready-made cookies, which she takes out of her "fridge that just need to be baked, 露西不是從頭開(kāi)始做餅干的，她用的是從現(xiàn)成的，從“冰箱”里拿出來(lái)需要烘烤的餅干。

that is they just need to be put into the oven and they will cook. 也就是說(shuō)他們僅僅需要放進(jìn)烤箱里烘烤。

She puts the cookies on a cookie sheet. 她把餅干放在烤盤上。

A cookie sheet,“sheet” is a long, flat pan that you can use to put things on when you put them in the oven. 烤盤，“烤盤”，是一個(gè)長(zhǎng)而扁的器皿，當(dāng)你把它放進(jìn)烤箱時(shí)，可以用它來(lái)放置東西。
