Mother, who made the stars,
媽媽，星星是誰造的，
which light the beautiful blue sky?
它的光把美麗的藍色夜空照亮？
Who made the moon, so clear and bright,
是誰造的月亮，如此清澈，閃耀光芒，
That rises up so high?
高高地掛在天上？
IT was God, my child, the Glorious One,
那是上帝，我的孩子，榮耀的主，
He formed them by his power;
他用神力創(chuàng)造了星星月亮；
He made alike the brilliant sun,
同樣是他，創(chuàng)造了燦爛的太陽，
And every leaf and flower.
以及所有草葉和花香。
He made your little feet to walk;
他為你造了小腳丫走天下，
Your sparkling eyes to see;
給你明亮的眼睛看宇宙；
Your busy, prattling tongue to talk,
你忙碌的舌頭咿呀呀愛說話，
And limbs so light and free.
還有四肢輕盈又自由。
He paints each fragrant flower that blows,
他畫出每一朵芳香的花，
With loveliness and bloom;
花朵嬌美盛放；
He gives the violet and the rose

Their beauty and perfume.
獨有的美和芬芳。
Our various wants his hands supply;
他的雙手滿足我們種種匱乏；
He guides us every hour;
他每時每刻引導(dǎo)我們前行；
We're kept beneath his watchful eye,
我們永遠處于他的關(guān)注之下，
And guarded by his power.
由他的權(quán)能庇護得安寧。
Then let your little heart, my love,
我的愛，讓你小小的心靈，
Its grateful homage pay
把它感恩的崇敬
To that kind Friend, who, from above,
歸于那來自天上的仁慈的朋友，
Thus guides you every day.
讓你每天跟從他的引領(lǐng)。
In all the changing scenes of time,
