One day, a boss arrived early at work and found his assistant kissing his secretary, He yelled, "Is this what I pay you for?"

The assistant answered, "No, sir, this I do free of charge."

某天，有個老板一早到了公司。看到他的助理正在親吻他的秘書。

"at work" 通常是指“正在工作中”，但也可以表示“在工作場所”。"find" 除了有“找到”的意思，也可以指“(無意中)發(fā)現(xiàn)”，若表示“(經(jīng)調查、研究)發(fā)現(xiàn)的結果”，則通常用"find out"。

他大喊：“這是我付錢給你的目的嗎?”

3. The assistant answered, "No, sir, this I do free of charge."

這個助理回答：“不是的，老板，我做這個是不收錢的。”

"free"若用于表示“免除...的”，需要free后面加of，再加名詞，如：free of interest=interest-free(免息)。
