An interviewer asked an applicant，"Your application says you left your last job because of sickness. Could you explain that, please?"

The candidate replied，"Sure. My boss got sick and tired of me."

一個面試主考官問一個應(yīng)征者：“你申請表上說你離開上一個工作是因為生病。”

"application"指任何形式的申請表，申淸人、應(yīng)征者 (applicant)在申請獎學(xué)金、簽證或一份工作時所填寫的表格叫做application,它不同于履歷表(resume)。

應(yīng)征者回答：“好的。我的老板對我感到厭惡。”

"sick and tired of"表示“對…感到厭倦(惡)”。所以不是他生病，而是老板看到他會生病。
