When we say a television show comes on, we mean that that is when it begins — that is when you can watch it. 當我們說“a television show comes on”，我們是指它的開始時間——也就是什么時候你可以看到它。

The national news can also be called a newscast, "newscast." 國內新聞也可以稱為新聞廣播(newscast)。

A newscast is a news program. 新聞廣播是新聞節(jié)目。

You could have a local newscast, with just news about Los Angeles, for me, or a national newscast. 你可以看只與洛杉磯有關的地方新聞節(jié)目，或者看國內新聞節(jié)目。

Well, "During the newscast, I sort through the day's mail." 那個，“新聞播送期間，我整理了一下白天的郵件。”

To sort, "sort," through means that I am looking at today's mail “To sort through”的意思是我正在看今天的郵件，
