這里只分析真實(shí)條件句，非真實(shí)條件句在“Chapter 8虛擬語(yǔ)氣”一章中將作詳細(xì)討論。
（1）條件狀語(yǔ)從句常用引導(dǎo)詞
最常見(jiàn)的引導(dǎo)詞是if和unless。
a. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
既然冬天來(lái)了，春天還會(huì)遠(yuǎn)嗎？
b.You don't need an umbrella unless it is raining.
如果天沒(méi)下雨，你就不需要帶傘。

其他引導(dǎo)條件狀語(yǔ)從句的常見(jiàn)連詞有suppose (that)，supposing (that)，providing/provided (that)，so long as，as long as，on condition that等。

g.Don't worry about the mistakes you may make in conversation, so long as you can make yourself understood in English.

c.Spare the rod and spoil the child. = If you spare the rod, you'11 spoil the child.　孩子不打不成器。
2）祈使句 / 省略句+ or/or else = unless從句+主句
