今天，要和大家聊的是法國(guó)疫情近況。

1.法國(guó)封城

the first lockdown第一次封城：March 18

要有出門證來展示出門的動(dòng)機(jī)（motive）

如果不遵守規(guī)定（the rule was not followed）的話，會(huì)有135歐的罰款（a fine of 135 euros）。

the gradual lifting of the confinement 逐步解除禁閉： May

只有幾個(gè)高風(fēng)險(xiǎn)區(qū)（in the red zone）仍然需要嚴(yán)格地封閉（strictly confined）。

漸漸地，法國(guó)回歸了“新正常生活”狀態(tài)（back to the new normal）。

the new normal：

1）Restaurants, schools, cafes reopened（重新開學(xué)、開業(yè)）.

2）wearing masks（戴口罩）, 1m distance（保持1米的社交距離）等新規(guī)定也是相繼而來。

3）但在九月末，病例又增加了（cases started to rise again）。

4）很多區(qū)域有新的限制（new restrictions）：

the closing of gyms, venues for festive or associative events, ban on gatherings of more than 10 people in public spaces

健身房關(guān)門，節(jié)日或相關(guān)活動(dòng)場(chǎng)所關(guān)閉，公共場(chǎng)所不能有超過10人的聚會(huì)。

ban on student parties, flea markets, garage sales, non-food markets etc. 句點(diǎn)

學(xué)生的聚會(huì)，跳蚤市場(chǎng)，車庫(kù)甩賣等也是被禁止。

a curfew（宵禁） was put in place for 15 days：晚上10點(diǎn)，所有的bars和restaurants都必須stop serving（關(guān)門）。

但是，所有的這些措施都是太溫柔（tender,gentle）。

So a new confinement was announced（出臺(tái)）.

new lockdown measures 再一次封城：October

但是，這一次的封城沒有上一次嚴(yán)格（less strict than the first confinement）。

Universities were closed but all primary, middle and high schools stayed open. 大學(xué)關(guān)了，但小學(xué)、初中、高中依然開學(xué)。

這樣，爸媽不用照顧孩子（take care of kids），可以keep working，經(jīng)濟(jì)才能維持下去（keep going）。

既可以在家辦公（work from home），也可以去辦公室（go to work physically）。

法國(guó)疫情近況：The cases are still quite a lot.

法國(guó)目前有200多萬確診病例（confirmed cases），5萬多死亡病例（deaths）。

Everyone is tired, very tired of living with COVID. It has been a year now and we are confined again.

每一個(gè)人都疲于新冠疫情，已經(jīng)一年了，如今又封城，心累!!!

It’s too hard!太難了?。。?/p>

2.疫情之下的法國(guó)

The second wave is getting better now, but they are worried that there will be potentially（潛在地） a third one. 盡管第二波疫情正在好轉(zhuǎn)，但大家都在惶恐第三波疫情的到來。

餐飲行業(yè)（restaurants, bars and nightclubs）經(jīng)濟(jì)慘淡（losing a lot of business）。

Older people in nursing homes（養(yǎng)老院）cannot enjoy their family’s company（陪伴）.

Students having parents abroad（在國(guó)外）haven’t seen their family for a year. 海外留學(xué)的學(xué)子已經(jīng)一年沒有與親人相見。

France might even still be confined by Christmas.圣誕將近，那時(shí)法國(guó)可能仍然封城。

Good news: vaccines seem to be promising and hopefully will be available soon. 疫苗似乎很有希望，并且疫苗接種在望。

3.中法對(duì)待疫情的差異

The way this pandemic was handled（解決） is so different in the two countries.

中法處理新冠疫情大不同：中國(guó)跟歐美國(guó)家很大的文化差異（cultural difference

）

China：所有中國(guó)人已經(jīng)習(xí)慣了（were already used to）戴口罩（wearing masks）。

在中國(guó)，口罩買不上的時(shí)候，竟有人拿柚子皮做口罩。

France：They didn’t even have masks in the beginning. 但法國(guó)一開始沒有口罩，后來還在爭(zhēng)論要不要戴口罩。

China：人人都使用WeChat，所以通過這個(gè)平臺(tái)（platform）來追蹤病例（to keep track of the cases）就容易很多。

France：人們更多的是，不愿意安裝相關(guān)的應(yīng)用（are more reluctant to installing apps），因?yàn)樗麄冎?，自己?huì)被追蹤（be tracked），位置信息（positions）會(huì)被共享。

所以，法國(guó)政府為疫情使用的APP, 沒有奏效（did not really work）。

It was very frustrating. 一聲嘆息，深深的無力感！

Staying positive is hard but it is important. We believe that everything will get better.

保持積極的心態(tài)很難，但至關(guān)重要。我們相信一切都在好轉(zhuǎn)。
