Educators should find out what students want included in the curriculum and then offer it to them.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the recommendation and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, describe specific circumstances in which adopting the recommendation would or would not be advantageous and explain how these examples shape your position.

五問：

（1）你認為不同教育階段的目標分別是什么？小學階段的學習重點是什么？初中、高中呢？大學呢？這將如何影響原文的論斷？

（2）培養(yǎng)學生的興趣愛好與通識教育之間應該如何區(qū)分？注重通識教育有什么益處？例如：能使得學生的知識結構較為完整。注重學生的興趣愛好有什么好處？例如：豐富學生的生活，有益于其身心健康，提高他們的綜合素質。掌握全面的知識與學習自己感興趣的知識一定是對立的嗎？

（3）所有的學生都應該接受同一種教育模式嗎？你能列出具體的例子來論證你的觀點嗎？例如：有些學生可能并不清楚自己想要什么，容易受膚淺認識的影響而不能認清事實本質，或者由于對自己的能力判斷不足，即便是有興趣的科目也學不下去。

（4）如果所有的教育者都這樣做，會有什么益處？會有什么害處？你能具體地說一說嗎？例如：益處是可能會激發(fā)學生學習的熱情和主動性，但部分專業(yè)可能會受到影響，導致相關領域人才的缺失；害處是由于學生的興趣多種多樣，可能會增加學校的負擔。

（5）老師對學生的教育方式是培養(yǎng)、發(fā)掘還是給予？你認為什么樣的師生關系才是最好的？
