1　cause 泛指引起某個結(jié)果的直接原因，自然界的原因。

What's the cause of the accident? 這起事故的起因是什么？

She has been the cause of anxiety. 引起大家焦慮的是她。

The heavy rain was the cause of the flood. 大雨引發(fā)了洪水。

2　reason 是邏輯上的理由，做某事的理由，原因。

The reason why he didn't come is that he was ill. 他沒有來的原因是他病了。

Give me your reasons for refusing. 向我講講你拒絕的理由。

You have no reason to do that. 你沒有理由那樣做。
