1　ask 表示詢問，為一般常用語。

She asked me the time. 她向我詢問時間。

“Which is better?” he asked . “哪個更好？”他問道。

I asked him whether he liked the film or not. 我問他是否喜歡那部電影。

2　question 表示問一連串的問題，或詢問、訊問，還表示“對……提出疑問”，為較正式用詞。

The teacher questioned Jack until he told all he knew. 老師問杰克直到他把所知道的一切都講出來為止。

I would never question her honesty. 我決不會懷疑她的誠實。
