368　cover的用法

1　cover 用作名詞時，表示“蓋子，封面”，為可數(shù)名詞。

The cover of the book is very good. 這本書的封面非常好。

Please take the cover from the pan. 請把鍋蓋揭開。

2　cover 用作動詞時，表示“蓋住，覆蓋”，是及物動詞，常用結(jié)構(gòu)為：

cover sb./ sth. with→用……把某人／某物蓋上

be covered with/ by→被……蓋著 （表示狀態(tài) ）

She covered the table with a piece of paper. 她用一張紙把桌子蓋住了。

He covered his eyes with his hands. 他用手遮住了雙眼。

The fields are covered with/by snow. 田野被雪覆蓋著。

The tree is covered with fruit. 樹上果實累累。
