450　miss和lose

1　miss 是及物動詞，表示“錯過（機會、某事），未趕上（車），未抓住（某物）”等，后跟名詞、代詞或動名詞。

He missed the train yesterday. 他昨天沒趕上火車。

You've missed your best opportunity. 你已經(jīng)錯過了最佳機會。

He has missed a lot of lessons. 他已誤了許多課。

She threw the ball to Jim, but he missed it. 她把球扔給吉姆，但是他沒接住。

I missed seeing her last week. 我上周沒能見到她。

2　miss 表示“思念，想念”，后跟名詞或代詞。

He missed his parents so much. 他非常想念父母。

She sometimes misses home. 她有時候想家。

3　miss 表示“未注意到，來看到，未聽到”。

The teacher spoke very slowly so that we wouldn't miss a word. 老師說得非常慢，這樣我們就不會漏聽一個字。

I missed some words in reading. 我在讀的過程中漏了幾個單詞。

4　lose 表示“丟失，遺失”，指失去不再擁有，lost 還可表示“迷路”。

I've lost my umbrella. 我把傘丟了。
