通用將與中國一汽合資生產(chǎn)輕型卡車

General Motorshas formed a 50-50 joint venture with FAW Group to make light trucks in China for the first time – in a further sign of the US vehicle maker's increased focus on the Chinese market in the face of weak US sales.

通用汽車(GM)與中國一汽集團(tuán)(FAW Group)組建了一家對等持股的合資公司,首次在華生產(chǎn)輕型卡車。此舉進(jìn)一步顯示,這家美國汽車制造商在本土銷售疲軟之時,愈發(fā)注重中國市場。

Total investment in the joint venture with the Chinese vehicle maker will be Rmb2bn ($293m), GM said yesterday, under a deal that the two companies have been negotiating for several years.

通用昨日表示,根據(jù)雙方歷時數(shù)年談判達(dá)成的協(xié)議,該項(xiàng)目的總投資額將為20億元人民幣(合2.93億美元)。

The partnership with FAW, called FAW-GM Light Duty Commercial Vehicle Co, will be GM's third joint venture with a local vehicle maker but the first to produce trucks. GM's other Chinese joint ventures produce passenger cars and mini commercial vehicles. GM passenger car sales in China rose 52 per cent year-on-year in July, traditionally a weak month, according to figures from JD Power, the car consultancy.

這家合資公司稱為“一汽通用輕型商用汽車有限公司”(FAW-GM Light Duty Commercial Vehicle Co)。該公司是通用與中國汽車制造商組建的第三家合資公司,不過,它是首家生產(chǎn)卡車的合資公司。通用在華的另兩家合資公司生產(chǎn)乘用車和微型商用車。汽車業(yè)咨詢公司JD Power給出的數(shù)字顯示,在傳統(tǒng)上屬于銷售淡季的7月份,通用在華的乘用車銷售量同比增長了52%。

Total Chinese light vehicle sales in July were up a remarkable 60 per cent year-on-year at 1.03m vehicles, the JD Power figures show. Chinese light vehicle sales have continued to surprise vehicle market analysts since January.

JD Power的數(shù)字顯示,今年7月中國輕型車銷售總量同比大幅增長了60%,至103萬輛。自今年1月以來,中國輕型車的銷售量就一直令汽車市場分析師意外。

Kevin Wale, head of GM in China, said yesterday GM would increase its forecast for the company's 2009 sales in China due to surprisingly strong demand. Earlier this year, China overtook the US to become the world's largest vehicle market.

通用汽車中國公司總裁甘文維(Kevin Wale)昨日表示,由于需求出人意料的強(qiáng)勁,通用將上調(diào)對2009年在華銷售量的預(yù)測。今年早些時候,中國超越美國成為全球最大的汽車市場。

The venture aims to sell between 80,000 and 90,000 vehicles this year and 100,000 next year, Mr Wale said. It will initially focus on local sales but will explore opportunities for exports over time, he added.

甘文維表示,新組建的這家合資公司本年度的銷售目標(biāo)為8萬至9萬輛,下一年度則為10萬輛。他補(bǔ)充說,該合資公司在初始階段將專注于中國市場的銷售,但隨著時間的推移會尋找出口的機(jī)會。

JD Power's latest report on the Chinese light vehicle market predicts that passenger vehicle sales will rise 25 per cent this year and light commercial vehicles sales will be up 39 per cent – largely because of a government stimulus programme aimed at boosting sales of small cars and vehicles in rural areas.

JD Power最新一份中國輕型車市場報(bào)告預(yù)測,今年乘用車銷售量將增長25%,輕型商用車銷售量將增長39%。政府一項(xiàng)旨在提升農(nóng)村地區(qū)小型車銷售量的刺激計(jì)劃,是推動這一增長的主要力量。

Sales of mini commercial vehicles from GM's joint venture with SAIC and Liuzhou Wuling Motors rose 95 per cent year-on-year in July, the report said.

該報(bào)告表示,今年7月通用另一家合資公司的微型商用車銷售量同比增長了95%。該公司是通用與上汽集團(tuán)(SAIC)和柳州五菱汽車(Liuzhou Wuling Motors)合資組建的。
