1. Gratitude, Gratitude, Gratitude

感恩,感恩。感恩!

Every night before you go to bed write down three things good that happened to you that day. That's pretty much all it takes to get a happiness boost over time. Wanna make yourself and someone else extremely happy? Try a gratitude visit. Write someone a letter thanking them and telling them how much what they have done for you means. Visit them and read it in person. It's a proven happiness.

2. Do what you are good at as often as you can

經(jīng)常做你擅長(zhǎng)的事

"Signature strengths" are the things you are uniquely good at and using them brings us joy. Exercising signature strengths is why starving artists are happier with their jobs.

“個(gè)人特長(zhǎng)”是你十分擅長(zhǎng)的技能,而且經(jīng)常能帶給其他人快樂(lè)。這就是為什么藝術(shù)家們能在窮困潦倒時(shí)依然熱愛(ài)他們的事業(yè)。

Think about the best possible version of yourself and move toward that. Signature strengths are the secret to experiencing more "flow" at work and in life. Learn to be an expert here.

想想自己最大的優(yōu)勢(shì)而且不斷鞏固提高它。個(gè)人特長(zhǎng)是在工作和生活中能不斷讓你提升的秘訣。爭(zhēng)取成為此方面的專(zhuān)家。

3. Spend as much time as possible with people you like

與你在乎的人多相處

The happiest people are social with strong relationships. Not spending more time with people we love is something we regret the most. Share the best events of your day with loved ones and ask them to do the same. It works.But I'm an introvert, you say? A little bit of extraversion here would do you good. Happiness is more contagious than unhappiness so with amount of exposure to others well-being scales.

幸福感最強(qiáng)的人有很好的人際關(guān)系。我們總是后悔沒(méi)能花足夠的時(shí)間和自己在乎的人相處。與你愛(ài)的人分享一天中最有意義的事,讓他們也嘗試下這些事情。這非常有用。但是你覺(jué)得自己很內(nèi)向?放開(kāi)一點(diǎn)其實(shí)會(huì)更好。快樂(lè)比悲傷蔓延的更快,所以開(kāi)朗些吧,你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)身邊的人都洋溢著笑容。

付出

Giving makes us happier than receiving. In fact, it can create a feedback loop of happiness in your life. Helping others reach their goals brings joy. Doing nice things for others today can literally make you happier for the rest of the week.

付出比收獲更能讓我們有滿(mǎn)足感。幫助他人實(shí)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想能讓我們有成就感。幫助別人只是一會(huì)的事,但心中的愉悅可以持續(xù)很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間。

5.Savor

感悟

Take time to really enjoy the good things. What are the best ways to savor?Positive mental time travel: Happy memories or looking forward to something.Being present: Not letting your mind wander and being absorbed in the moment.

抽出時(shí)間享受美好。最好的感悟方式是什么呢?精神旅行:回憶快樂(lè)的過(guò)往或期待未來(lái)?;钤诋?dāng)下:不要想不實(shí)際的事,專(zhuān)心考慮現(xiàn)在的情況。

6. Strive

奮斗

Set ambitious goals and strive.Sitting on the couch watching TV does not make you happy. You are happier when you are busy and are probably have more fun at work than at home. Thinking and working can beat sad feelings. Mastering skills is stressful in the short term and happiness-boosting in the long term.

定下目標(biāo)努力并為之努力奮斗。在沙發(fā)上看電視不能讓你高興起來(lái),忙碌時(shí)反而覺(jué)得更充實(shí),工作時(shí)也可能比在家更有樂(lè)趣。其實(shí)工作和思考都能消滅壞情緒。掌握技能在短時(shí)間會(huì)讓你有壓力但是從長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)角度會(huì)讓你跟有成就感。

7. Be optimistic, even to the border of delusion.

不管何時(shí)都要樂(lè)觀面對(duì)。

Optimism is key. Yes, pessimism softens the blow of bad news but it isn't worth it. Optimism increases resilience.People with positive illusions about their relationship are more satisfied, score higher on love and trust and have fewer problems.Happy people believe their partner is a little more awesome than they really are. Someone you think is great who also thinks you're great -- it's one of the primary things you should look for in a marriage partner.

樂(lè)觀的心態(tài)很重要。悲觀心態(tài)的確會(huì)減少壞消息帶來(lái)的沖擊但你不需要這樣做。樂(lè)觀會(huì)讓你更堅(jiān)強(qiáng)。人們?nèi)绻X(jué)得自己很會(huì)處理人際關(guān)系,那么他們會(huì)更知足、更懂得照顧人、也更少出狀況。樂(lè)觀的人們實(shí)踐著“情人眼里出西施”,他們眼中的伴侶總是美似天仙,帥似潘安。不過(guò)在你尋找伴侶時(shí),互相欣賞是最基本的原則。

8. Fundamentals are fundamental

基本方法還是有效的

Cranky? Before you blame the world, eat something. Take a nap -- it can purge negative emotions. Sleep is vital because your mood in the morning affects your mood all day.脾氣火爆?在你抱怨社會(huì)前,先壓壓火。你可以小睡一會(huì),你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)負(fù)面情緒都被“睡”掉了。

9. Frequency beats intensity

發(fā)現(xiàn)“小確幸”

Lots of little good things is the path to happiness.Stop thinking about big events that might make you thrilled -- it's the little things of everyday life that make lasting improvements to our happiness. You're not going to win the lottery and it wouldn't have the impact you think it would.很多小事中包含幸福。不要去想那些讓你興奮難寐的大事件——真正打開(kāi)幸福之門(mén)的都是日常生活中的小事。你不會(huì)那么幸運(yùn)的中彩票,就算你真是那個(gè)幸運(yùn)兒,生活也不會(huì)因此改變太多。
