男子結(jié)婚要開文盲證明才能領(lǐng)證?

The 58-year-old groom, surnamed Zhu, wasofficially wed to his wife, surnamed Zhang, onMonday afternoon at the Chang'an district civilaffairs bureau, where Zhu claimed they had beendenied certificates weeks earlier because he couldn'tread or write.

上周一下午，58歲的朱先生和他的妻子張女士前往長安區(qū)民政局正式申請(qǐng)結(jié)婚登記。朱先生聲稱，因其不識(shí)字，幾周前工作人員拒絕給其辦理結(jié)婚證。

Zhu, a widower from Henan Province, has operated asmall business in Xi'an for 20 years, where he liveswith Zhang and his 16-year-old daughter.

來自河南的朱先生早年喪妻，已經(jīng)在西安做小生意有20年了，和張女士以及他16歲的女兒一起生活。

According to Zhu, clerks had told him he either must fill out all the paperwork on his own orprovide an official police document that stated "I am illiterate," China Business Newsreported. However, officers in his hometown in neighboring Henan told him they could issue nosuch document, explained Zhu.

根據(jù)第一財(cái)經(jīng)報(bào)道，朱先生表示，民政局工作人員告訴他，必須得自己填寫好申請(qǐng)文書，如果填不了，就讓原籍派出所開個(gè)“我是文盲”的證明。不過，朱先生對(duì)此做出解釋稱，他家鄉(xiāng)河南省的官員表示他們無法開這個(gè)證明。

Employees at the bureau said they didn't remember Zhu's specific case, but denied allegations that people who have trouble reading and writing require any special documentation to applyfor marriage licenses.

長安民政局工作人員則聲稱不記得是否發(fā)生過朱先生所說的事。同時(shí)該部門也表示，即便有不識(shí)字的人來領(lǐng)結(jié)婚證，也不會(huì)要求對(duì)方去開任何特殊的證明。

According to the head of the marriage registration office, surnamed Fang, employees areallowed to fill out forms for applicants that cannot read or write, who then sign with afingerprint. She suggested that there may have been some confusion in his records aboutZhu's previous marital status.

據(jù)該婚姻登記處的負(fù)責(zé)人方主任講，工作人員可以幫忙不識(shí)字的領(lǐng)證人代填聲明書，當(dāng)事人按手印即可。她還解釋說，有可能是朱先生填寫的婚姻狀況聲明與戶口薄上登記的不一致才會(huì)這樣。

"His illiteracy has really hurt him in the past," said Zhang. "I have little education myself,writing is hard for me too." The married couple is now looking forward to their new life together.
