One day, a donkey was carrying a bundle of wood and he fell into the river. He struggIed to come out from the water but in vain.The donkey moaned and cried for help.

Some frogs in the water heard the cries. They came to the donkey and said，“You only fall into the river once and you make such a fuss.How about us who stay in the water for such a long time?How pitiful would that be?”

有一天，一頭驢馱著一捆木材摔進(jìn)了河里。它掙扎著想爬上岸來(lái)，可總是爬不上來(lái)，驢便唉聲嘆氣地高呼救命。

河里的青蛙聽(tīng)到了驢的呼救聲，成群出來(lái)圍觀并對(duì)驢說(shuō)：“你只不過(guò)是摔了一跤，跌進(jìn)河里，就這樣大嚷大叫。如果你像我們一樣長(zhǎng)期居住在這里，你又會(huì)痛苦成什么樣子呢？”
