Every girl dreams and Li Xie is no exception. She has read dozens of books on how to be a baIIerina and Swam Lake is her favorite.She hopes one day her dream will come true.She has taken ballet lessons and all her teachers confirm she is a good student.

One day she saw an advertisement that a famous ballerina troupe will be performing in her hometown. Her thoughts ran wild，“I must meet up with the leader of the troupe and show him my skills，”she murmured to herself.She dressed herself in her ballerina costume and managed to evade the guards and hid in the dressing room.To her luck the leader entered and she timidly knocked at the door.She bravely approached him and handed him a bunch of red roses and in her excitement the thorns pricked her hand but she did not make much ado about the pain.The leader observed her action as she told him her dream.“Alright, you dance and I will give you my verdict.”But half way through the dance he stopped her and said，“I'm sorry you're not good enough！”

On hearing this Li Xie ran as fast as her legs could carry her and was ashamed. She gave up her dream.Many years later, she heard that the same ballet troupe was performing in her town again.Bitter memories of the leader's harsh words came flooding back to her.This time she was determined to find out why the leader had told her she was not good enough when all her teachers thought otherwise.

This was his reply，“I tell this to every student.”She angrily shot back，“You've ruined my life！”Then she got a further shock，“I remember your gift of roses and how the thorns had pricked your fingers but you carried on bravely. If you only had treated ballet like that and did not give up so easily；therefore, you still deserve my verdict！”

每一個(gè)女孩都有夢(mèng)想，李協(xié)也不例外。她讀了很多書，都是關(guān)于如何成為一個(gè)芭蕾舞演員的，她最喜歡的是《天鵝湖》。她希望有一天能夢(mèng)想成真。她參加了芭蕾舞培訓(xùn)班，所有老師都認(rèn)為她很優(yōu)秀。

一天，有一則廣告說一個(gè)著名的芭蕾舞團(tuán)要在她的家鄉(xiāng)演出，她看到后頓時(shí)思緒萬千，自言自語道：“我必須要見見團(tuán)長，展示一下我的才藝?！彼┥习爬俜?，盡量避開門衛(wèi)躲進(jìn)了化妝室。很幸運(yùn)，團(tuán)長進(jìn)來了，她膽怯地敲了敲門。她鼓足勇氣走近他，送上一束紅玫瑰。激動(dòng)之余，玫瑰的刺戳到了她的手，但她根本沒有在意。在她給團(tuán)長講自己的夢(mèng)想時(shí)，團(tuán)長注意到了她的舉止?！昂冒桑阆忍?，我再說我的意見?！钡撬惶艘话耄瑘F(tuán)長就讓她停下來，說道：“我很抱歉你跳得還不夠好?！?/p>

聽到這話，李協(xié)非常羞愧，拼命地跑開了。從此，她放棄了夢(mèng)想。多年以后，她聽說原來那個(gè)芭蕾舞團(tuán)又一次來到她家鄉(xiāng)演出。團(tuán)長尖刻的話語涌上她的心頭，這是一次痛苦的記憶。這次她決定向團(tuán)長問個(gè)究竟，為什么別的老師都認(rèn)為她跳得很好，而他卻不這樣認(rèn)為。

團(tuán)長回答道：“我對(duì)每個(gè)學(xué)生都這樣說?！彼鷼獾胤瘩g說：“可是你毀了我的一生！”團(tuán)長的回話讓她更震驚了：“我記得你送的玫瑰，刺戳到了你的手指，而你卻勇敢地繼續(xù)表演。如果你能以那種精神對(duì)待芭蕾舞，就不會(huì)輕易放棄了。因此，我的意見對(duì)你仍然適用?！?/p>
