樂隊簡介

以女主唱Allison goldfrapp名字命名的Goldfrapp是一個來自英國的二人電子樂團，樂團的另一位成員是作曲家Will Gregory。無論是演唱時濃郁的英式口音還是和時而陰森 時而空靈的英國名著如出一轍的曲風(fēng)，goldfrapp都可以說是最具英倫文化特色和風(fēng)情的樂團。 現(xiàn)今身為歌手/做曲家/鍵盤手的Allison Goldfrapp (13 May 1966 Enfield, London)在middlesex大學(xué)主修繪畫時就開始研究音樂了。還在學(xué)校的時候，她就在朋友Tricky的1995年的初次演出中露臉，然后又在這位著名電子樂手的專輯Orbital\'s Snivilisation 和 Add N以及 X\'s 中露面。到90年代末，她開始自己做曲;她的一個朋友將她的一些作品給了作曲家Will Gregory(17 September 1959 Bristol, England)，后者發(fā)現(xiàn)倆人在曲風(fēng)上有許多共同之處，于是二人便建立了樂隊，用ALLISON的姓作為樂隊名字。于是在1999年簽約mute之后， Goldfrapp在2000年秋天發(fā)表了它們的第一張專集Felt Mountain。
