雅思近義詞匯辨析：type與typewrite

　　用法1

　　兩者都可表示“打字”，但現(xiàn)在一般只用 type。如：

　　Do you know how to type? 你會打字嗎?

　　Your job is to type the memo. 你的任務是把備忘錄打出來。

　　This will need to be typed (out) again. 這份文稿要重打一遍。

　　Type this again as I showed you a moment ago. 把這份材料按我剛才告訴你的那樣再打一遍。

　　用法2

　　在現(xiàn)代英語中，typewrite 通常只于兩個派生詞：

　　(1) typewriter：其意為“打字機”，如：(from www.yywords.com)

　　He watched the typewriter carried out of the door. 他瞧著打字機被搬出門去。

　　“I was wondering if I could borrow your typewriter. ”— “Sorry. I’m using it. ” “我能否借用一下你的打字機?”“對不起，我在用。”

　　We’ve got one micro and two electric typewriters m our office. 我們辦公室有一臺微機和兩臺電動打字機。(G12)

　　比較：typist 指“打字員”。如：

　　There is a great demand for typists. 需要大量的打字員。

　　(2) typewritten 打印的(指用打字機打印的)。
