一份報告指出,出國讀研的中國留學生的數(shù)量在持續(xù)攀升。
Students who apply for master's degree or above overseas made up 68% of all students planning to study abroad, up 8 percentage points from 2017 and 11 percentage points from 2016, according to the Report on Chinese Students' Overseas Study released by New Oriental Vision Overseas and Kantar Millward Brown.

The rise in the number of applicants for the master's degree or above overseas indicates an increasing number of students willing to obtain a higher academic degree to elevate their competitiveness, the report read.
報告稱,申請出國讀研或以上學歷的人數(shù)上升說明,想獲得更高學歷以提高自身競爭力的學生數(shù)量有所增加。
Students who apply for master's degree or above overseas accounted for 47 percent of all Chinese students already studying abroad, the report showed.
申請海外碩士及碩士以上學位的學生,占中國所有已出國留學的學生總數(shù)的47%。
The interviewed students chose to study abroad for the purposes of expanding their horizons(64 percent), enriching life experience (64 percent), learning advanced knowledge (49 percent), and obtaining better jobs (44 percent).
受訪學生選擇出國留學的目的是擴大視野(64%)、豐富生活經(jīng)驗(64%)、學習高級知識(49%)和獲得更好的工作(44%)。
The report was based on a survey of around 5,000 students who plan to go to school abroad or were previously overseas students, and their parents and some employers, in more than 40 cities across China in February and March.
