迪士尼動(dòng)畫(huà)首席創(chuàng)意官因性騷擾離職

John Lasseter, chief creative officer of Walt Disney Co animation and co-founder of Pixar, will leave Disney at the end of the year following a sexual harassment scandal, the company announced.

迪士尼公司日前宣布，該公司首席創(chuàng)意官、皮克斯聯(lián)合創(chuàng)始人約翰·拉塞特因性騷擾丑聞將于年底從迪士尼離職。

The decision followed a six-month sabbatical by the animation chief after incidents involving unwanted hugs that made staff uncomfortable.

此前，這位動(dòng)畫(huà)大師在被曝出對(duì)多位員工有不恰當(dāng)?shù)膿肀Ш鬀Q定休假半年。

Lasseter, 61, issued an statement apologizing for missteps after the exposure of the scandal.

在丑聞曝光后，今年61歲的拉塞特發(fā)表聲明，就自己的過(guò)失致歉。

 

Lasseter joined the company in 2006 when Disney bought Pixar Animation Studios.

拉塞特是在2016年迪士尼收購(gòu)皮克斯動(dòng)畫(huà)工作室時(shí)加入的。

Lasseter was the creative force behind movie hits like "Toy Story," and "Cars," that won Academy Awards.

他也是摘取奧斯卡獎(jiǎng)的《玩具總動(dòng)員》、《汽車(chē)總動(dòng)員》等熱門(mén)電影的創(chuàng)意總監(jiān)。

Disney did not announce a replacement but Chief Executive Bob Iger noted in the statement that Lasseter had assembled "a team of great storytellers and innovators with the vision and talent to set the standard in animation for generations to come."

迪士尼方面沒(méi)有宣布替代者，但是首席執(zhí)行官羅伯特·艾格在聲明中指出，拉塞特已經(jīng)組建了一個(gè)“由優(yōu)秀的故事講述者和創(chuàng)新者組成的團(tuán)隊(duì)，他們的遠(yuǎn)見(jiàn)卓識(shí)和才能為后代動(dòng)畫(huà)設(shè)立了標(biāo)桿。”
