A modified version of the Long March-6 carrier rocket with solid strap-on boosters made its maiden flight on Tuesday, sending two satellites into planned orbit. The rocket blasted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in North China's Shanxi province at 5:50 p.m.
北京時(shí)間3月29日17時(shí)50分，我國(guó)在太原衛(wèi)星發(fā)射中心成功發(fā)射長(zhǎng)征六號(hào)改運(yùn)載火箭，順利將兩顆衛(wèi)星送入預(yù)定軌道。
The modified rocket is China's first type of carrier rocket equipped with solid strap-on boosters. It uses non-toxic and non-polluting propellants and can send satellites to the sun-synchronous orbit.
長(zhǎng)征六號(hào)改運(yùn)載火箭是長(zhǎng)征六號(hào)火箭的改進(jìn)型，是我國(guó)新一代無(wú)毒無(wú)污染運(yùn)載火箭，也是我國(guó)首型固體捆綁運(yùn)載火箭，用于發(fā)射太陽(yáng)同步軌道衛(wèi)星。
