我國公路總里程已達528萬公里

The total length of China's highway network has reached 5.28 million km, an official said on Tuesday. Zhou Rongfeng, an official with the Ministry of Transport, underscored the importance of strengthening highway maintenance and management, as the highway is among the most widely used means of transportation, with the most extensive coverage and the highest number of passengers. China has set up a national highway network that consists of expressways, trunk roads, and rural roads.

交通運輸部公路局副局長周榮峰在4月26日舉行的新聞發(fā)布會上宣布，目前我國公路總里程已達528萬公里，形成了以高速公路為骨架、普通干線為脈絡(luò)、農(nóng)村公路為基礎(chǔ)的全國公路網(wǎng)。周榮峰表示，公路交通是覆蓋范圍最廣、服務(wù)人口最多、使用最廣泛的交通運輸方式，維護好這些規(guī)模龐大的公路資產(chǎn)，加強公路養(yǎng)護管理工作意義重大。
