[02:36.09]The curious thing was that the lake was not marked on the map. [02:39.79]I felt as if I had stumbled into a nightmare country, [02:43.37]as you sometimes do in dreams. [02:45.89]And,as in a nightmare,there was nobody in sight to help me. [02:50.44]Fortunately for me,as I was wondering what to do next, [02:53.94]there appeared on the horizon a man on horseback,riding in my direction. [02:59.22]I waited till he came near,then I asked him the way to our old village. [03:04.13]He said that there was now no village. [03:07.41]I thought he must have misunderstood me,so I repeated its name. [03:11.72]This time he pointed to the lake. [03:14.16]The village no longer existed because it had been submerged,and all the valley too. [03:20.17]The lake was not a natural one,but a man-made reservoir. Did the narrater find his mother's grave?
