4. Microwave

A blonde went to the appliance store sale and found a bargain2. "I would like to buy this TV." she told the salesman.

Sorry, we don't sell to blondes. he replied.

She hurried home and dyed3 her hair, then came back and again told the salesman. "I would like to buy this TV." "Sorry, we don't sell to blondes," he replied.

Damn4, he recognized me. she thought.

And the TV set was really a good deal. So she went for a complete disguise5 this time, haircut and new color, new outfit6, big sunglasses, then waited a few days before she again approached7 the salesman. "I would like to buy this TV." "Sorry, we don't sell to blondes," he replied.

Frustrated8, she exclaimed, "How do you know I'm a blonde?"

Because, he replied, "that's a microwave."

一個(gè)金發(fā)女郎走進(jìn)了家電銷售店，并且找到了一件便宜貨?！斑@臺(tái)電視我要了?！彼嬖V銷售員。

“對(duì)不起，我們不賣給金發(fā)女郎?！变N售員回答說(shuō)。

她趕忙回家，把頭發(fā)染上色，又回到店中告訴銷售員：“這臺(tái)電視我要了。”“對(duì)不起，我們不賣給金發(fā)女郎?！变N售員回答說(shuō)。

“糟糕，他認(rèn)出我了?！彼?。

這臺(tái)電視實(shí)在是太便宜了。于是這一次她去做了全身偽裝：剪了頭發(fā)，又重新染了色，穿上新外套，戴上大墨鏡。然后又等了幾天才再次光臨那家商店。她再次走向銷售員：“這臺(tái)電視我要了?！薄皩?duì)不起，我們不賣貨給金發(fā)女郎。”銷售員回答說(shuō)。

灰心喪氣的金發(fā)女郎抱怨說(shuō)：“你怎么知道我是金發(fā)女郎的？”

“因?yàn)槟鞘且慌_(tái)微波爐。”他回答說(shuō)。
