The boss of a big company needed to call one of his employees about an urgent problem with one of the main computers. He dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper "Hello"

The boss asked,"Is your daddy home"

"Yes," whispered the small voice.

"May I talk with him" the man asked.

To the surprise of the boss,the small voice whispered,"No." Wanting to talk with an adult,the boss asked,"Is your mommy there"

"Yes," came the answer.

"May I talk with her"

Again the small voice whispered,"No."

Knowing that it was not likely that a young child would be left home alone,the boss decided he would just leave a message with the person who should be there watching over the child."Is there any one there besides you" the boss asked the child.

"Yes," whispered the child,"A policeman."

Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home,the boss asked,"May I speak with the policeman"

"No,he's busy," whispered the child.

"Busy doing what" asked the boss.

"Talking to daddy and mommy and the fireman," came the whispered answer.

Growing concerned and even worried as he heard what sounded like a helicopter through the earpiece on the phone,the boss asked,"What is that noise"

"A helicopter," answered the whispering voice.

"What is going on there" asked the boss,now alarmed.

In an impressed whispering voice the child answered,"The search team just landed the helicopter."

Alarmed,concerned and more than just a little frustrated the boss asked,"Why are they there"

Still whispering,the young voice replied along with a muffled giggle: "They're looking for me."

老板問:"你爸爸在家嗎?"

老板急著想和大人說話,就問:"你媽媽在家嗎?"

小男孩小聲說:"在家。"

老板問:"我能跟她說話嗎?"

再一次,小男孩小聲說:"不能。"

老板想大人們不大會讓孩子單獨(dú)在家,就要和照看孩子的人說話:

"在你旁邊還有別人嗎?"

小男孩小聲說:"有一個(gè)警察。"

老板想警察會在他的雇員家做什么呢?他問:"我能跟警察說話嗎?"

小男孩小聲說:"不能,他正忙著呢。"

"忙著干什么?"

"正在跟我爸爸、媽媽和消防隊(duì)員說話。"

老板聽到電話聽筒中傳來類似直升飛機(jī)的噪音,更加擔(dān)心了。他問:"那是什么聲音?"

那耳語聲回答:"一架直升機(jī)。"

老板更緊張了:"那里發(fā)生了什么事?"

小男孩用一種很嚴(yán)肅的耳語聲說:"搜索隊(duì)正從直升機(jī)上下來。"

老板非常驚恐、擔(dān)憂、焦慮:"他們?yōu)槭裁丛谀抢?"

小男孩用耳語聲夾雜捂住的格格笑聲說:"他們正在找我。"
