On far-flung river shore
Light dust is raised when waves in haste roll by.
There’re many farewells on willowy bridge as of yore.
It is sad to see others part;
To sever from one’s own would break the heart.
After sundown,
The new moon peers at western town.
Again I gaze afar in tower high,
Wishing to follow you like slender moon
From mile to mile lest you feel lone.
