4.18 Curious 好奇

W: I've been told that you are a very successful businessman abroad. I wonder how you managed to achieve such success?

M: Oh, through a lot of hard work, of course.

W: I suppose that in a foreign country it was difficult at first, wasn't it?

M: Surely it was, especially when you only knew few people and little English.

W: You mean you didn’t know much English then?

M: Right. I only knew a few English sentences.

W: That's incredible. Could you tell me what you did to make a start?

M: First, I worked as a servant.

W: Really? I wish you could tell me more about your experience.

M: I'd like to, but I must run to a meeting.
