在西方古典繪畫和雕塑中,經(jīng)?？梢钥吹铰泱w的人物身上有一片樹葉遮住下體。這種專門用以遮羞的葉子 就是 figleaf。

典出《圣經(jīng)·創(chuàng)世紀(jì)》。Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked: so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.他們（亞當(dāng)和夏娃）兩人的眼睛就明亮了，才知道自己是赤身裸體，便拿無花果的葉子為自己編作裙子。
