As is shown in the above picture, a recruiter is examining the final scores of the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) with a magnifier. According to his observation, the final result of NCEE is like a big tree with so many branches of additional scores that it astonishes him, which implies the confusion that the policy of additional score of NCEE has brought to people. 1

Undeniably, the policy of additional score originally aims to compensate for the limitations of NCEE and encourage students’ overall development. 2 However, there are some problems arising, with corruption being the first one. 3 Because of the loose design and non-transparent implementation processes, it is easy for some powerful people to take advantage of the policy.
