Reading Interests of Senior Middle School Students

Recently, a survey hasbeenone I have been dreaming of.

ln this survey,onethousand senior middle school students from ten schools in Hubei Province wereinterviewd. They were asked which they liked reading most among the fourcategories of English articles: news, stories, popular science articles andarticles about learning methods.

The survey shows thatmore than half of the students like to read news most. Twenty-six percent ofthe students say that English stories are their favorite. Only seven percent ofthe students are most interested in reading articles about learning methods.However, the number of the students who enjoy reading popular science articlesdoubles that of those who prefer reading articles about learning methods.

高中學(xué)生的閱讀興趣

最近，一項(xiàng)調(diào)查一直是我的夢(mèng)想。

在這次調(diào)查中，來(lái)自湖北省十所學(xué)校的一千名高中生接受了采訪。他們被問(wèn)及在新聞、故事、科普文章和學(xué)習(xí)方法文章這四類(lèi)英語(yǔ)文章中，他們最喜歡讀哪一類(lèi)。

調(diào)查顯示，超過(guò)一半的學(xué)生喜歡閱讀新聞。26%的學(xué)生說(shuō)英語(yǔ)故事是他們最喜歡的。只有7%的學(xué)生最感興趣的是閱讀關(guān)于學(xué)習(xí)方法的文章。然而，喜歡閱讀科普文章的學(xué)生人數(shù)是喜歡閱讀學(xué)習(xí)方法文章的學(xué)生人數(shù)的兩倍。
