  雅思大作文解題思路:

  不該看1:孩子的第一目標(biāo)是學(xué)習(xí),這和電視的娛樂(lè)功能是互斥的。舉例,沉迷于電視的話,學(xué)生的注意力會(huì)從書本轉(zhuǎn)移到電視屏幕上,這讓他們大大地分心。

  不該看2:電視的出現(xiàn)會(huì)降低人們的社交熱情,學(xué)生總是癡癡地盯著電視畫面,忽略了和周圍人的互動(dòng)。此外,看電視還減少了孩子們出去活動(dòng)的時(shí)間,這導(dǎo)致健康問(wèn)題。

  該看1: 電視能幫助孩子們減壓。在經(jīng)歷了一天的努力學(xué)習(xí)后,看電視能放松孩子們的身心,讓他們擺脫那些學(xué)習(xí)上的挫折,并讓他們的心態(tài)變得自信和積極。

  該看2: 看電視是一種很好的輔助式教育。它能告訴孩子們很多學(xué)校不會(huì)教授的知識(shí),如生活技能,急救技能,理財(cái)技能等等。

  Nowadays,the overwhelming popularity of TVs in our lives has been a heated social issuein debate. Some people suggest children should be encouraged to watch TV.Personally, I partially agree with this assertion, and my reasons will beexplored as below.

  Admittedly,this assertion is problematic, because it overlooks the potential risks TV setsbring to students. Firstly, the primary goal of children's life is studying,which is exclusive from the entertainment purpose of TV programs. In otherwords, fancy pictures and videos in TV, from an advertisement to a sportingspot, are a tremendous disturber that seriously distracts children fromfocusing on the teacher and textbooks. Therefore, by watching TV, students’general interests and efficiency in studying would be lowered sharply.Secondly, watching TV weakens children's desires and interpersonal skills forsocialization with other peers. As long as the emergence of TV, all childrenwould do is no more than pinning themselves in front of this machine andstaring at pictures on the screen, with no time or attention spent oncommunication with people around. That is to say, Watching TV steals children'stime that could be spent on interaction with peers, or outdoor exercise.

  However, I agree that watching TV at home is beneficial to children. For onething, TV is an ideal stress reliever. After a hard-studying day in school,watching one-hour cartoons on TV can effectively help children relax theirminds, get rid of physical exhaustion and mental problems like frustration anddiscouragement accumulated in school, as well as recover positive attitudestowards challenges of tomorrow. Therefore, the function of TV to stabilizeemotional well-being of children is irreplaceable. In addition, TV is avaluable tool of complementary education, which can teach these young viewerspractical knowledge absent in school classes. For example, all kinds ofchannels about food, wild camping and finance can equip children with skills ofcooking, first aiding and money planning.

  In conclusion, watching TV in different occasions has opposite influences onchildren. In my view, TV should be banned in school, in terms of itsdistraction on studying and social activities. As for watching TV at home,however, I believe it can bring many benefits to after-school children.(369 words)
