The Vancouver Pavilion is an innovative structure that shows the versatility of wood by combining conventional linear elements with unexpected spherical elements. The Pavilion is designed with green building materials. The exposed wood structure contains exhibits that will encourage visitors to explore the advantages of building with wood.

加拿大溫哥華是世界上最宜居的城市之一，西南部福溪地區(qū)曾是1986年溫哥華世博會的會址，經(jīng)過持續(xù)規(guī)劃和開發(fā)，不斷改進其宜居性，目前已成為溫哥華最有活力和最吸引人的地區(qū)之一。其東南地區(qū)成為2010年冬奧會和殘奧會奧運村。上海世博會上，溫哥華把冬奧會作為一個案例，展示其如何通過可持續(xù)發(fā)展實現(xiàn)城市宜居性的經(jīng)驗。
