   Three years ago, Lüc Carl was a chubby, beer-swilling bar manager.

   "He hated to admit it, but the breakup with Stefani definitely made him want to look good," says Stebbins, 21, an actress who appeared on an episode of Law and Order. But today, thanks to a steady diet of alcoholand long runs, the manager of Lower East Side gained back his pop-star girlfriend. The bad boy rekindled his romance with Stefani—now Lady Gaga—last summer.

   Last month, Lüc decided to pen a book espousing the lifestyle, which he credits with helping him lose the weight over the past two years. Its release date is set for early 2012. What's more, Lady Gaga announced last month that she, too, is a devoteeof Lüc's plan.

   In May 2010, Lüc—who listens to the Rocky soundtrackand Iron Maiden during workouts—finished Half-Marathon in an hour and 57 minutes. He also celebrated his 30th birthday in December by completing his first marathon, in Vegas.
