A : I was reading about how some people get tricked or drugged in their hotel rooms and have their organs removed! Then they are sold on the black market.

B : Don't tell me you actually believe all that? Don't be so gullible, they are just urbanlegends. They are just stories people make up to scare you.

A : Well, I was also reading about how some popular songs have subliminal or even satanic messages if you play them backwards! Can you believe that?

B : You really think an artist or song writer is going to go through the trouble of puttingsubliminal or satanic messages in a song? Don't be so naive!

A : Well maybe you are right, but how about the story of how KFC has rows of headless chickens which are super grown in order to get bigger chickens faster!

B : Sounds a bit too far fetched to be true, don't you think?

1. drug 名詞有藥;毒品;麻醉藥;滯銷貨的意思。動詞有使服麻醉藥;使服毒品;摻麻醉藥于的意思。
Americans are awaking to the importance of drug control. 美國人開始認識到控制毒品的重要性。
Never discontinue a prescription drug on your own, however, without consulting yourphysician. 如果沒有醫(yī)生診斷，千萬不要擅自停止使用處方的藥。
2. make up 彌補;組成;化妝;整理
Life is just a series of trying to make up your mind. 生活就是由一系列你下定決心去做的事組成的。
But next year, tax rises will make up nearly half of it. 但明年，稅收的增長將會彌補一半縮減的開支。
When people started asking questions, she had to make up more details. 而當人們開始提問時，她不得不編造更為詳細的資料。
3. too...to... 太……以致不能……
Smile, so easy but too hard. to me. 微笑，如此簡單、但也對我來說太難。
4. far-fetched 牽強的;不自然的;牽強附會的;不靠譜的
He still wasn't too sure that was so far fetched. 他還不敢說自己的這種想法是牽強的。
Emotional aim is described far-fetched without features. 情感目標表述牽強，不具有特性。
