sob story 用來(lái)騙取人同情的煽情的故事

      <2>My brother told me a real sob story. So I lend him $10.

1．劇中:He’s going to make one last contact.

make (a) contact with sb. 跟誰(shuí)聯(lián)絡(luò)，跟誰(shuí)打招呼, to talk or communicate with someone
e.g.<1> As soon as he lands in Singapore, he’s going to make contact with me.
           他一到新加坡，就會(huì)跟我聯(lián)絡(luò)。
     <2>I need to make contact with my boss before I leave.

2． This is very positive.

positive 意思是好,不錯(cuò),good
e.g. <1>After they lost the match, he wasn’t feeling very positive.
            他們輸了比賽以后，他感覺(jué)很郁悶。
     <2>This deal sounds positive, I think it will work well.
           這單生意挺起來(lái)很不錯(cuò)嘛，我覺(jué)得一定能行。
