Chapter　10

第十章

 

Just as the Super Skrull’s powerful hammer-fist was about to hit the already battered Peter, agiant wooden shield appeared above him! The shield took the heavy blow, protecting Peter.

正當(dāng)超級(jí)斯克魯爾人的拳頭即將砸到奄奄一息的彼得時(shí)，一個(gè)巨大的木頭盾牌擋在他面前！盾牌承受住了強(qiáng)力的打擊，護(hù)住了彼得。

 

Wait. . . that wasn’t a shield. It was Groot!

等等……那不是盾牌。是格魯特！

 

“I am Groot,” Groot shouted as splinters flew off his body!

“我是格魯特。”格魯特怒吼著，身上的小碎木被震得飛了起來(lái)。

 

The rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy then burst through the door to Cosmo’s office.

銀河護(hù)衛(wèi)隊(duì)的其他成員迅速?zèng)_進(jìn)科斯莫的辦公室。

 

“Hey, ugly!” Rocket said as he raised a hyper-blaster he’d just built. “I never thought I’d see a face as revolting as Drax’s, but you take the cake!” He fired at the attacking alien.

“嗨，丑八怪！”火箭舉起剛剛組裝的超級(jí)爆能槍，“我從沒(méi)想到這輩子還能看到一張比德拉克斯還惡心的臉，今天真是中獎(jiǎng)了！”火箭一邊譏諷一邊向這個(gè)外星人射擊。

 

The force of the blast knocked the Super Skrull back, making him lose his aim. He couldn’t focus his fire blast at Captain Marvel anymore. She was able to spring back up and shoot blasts from her fingertips at him!

爆能槍的火力擊退了超級(jí)斯克魯爾人，他失去了準(zhǔn)頭，沒(méi)法一直對(duì)準(zhǔn)驚奇隊(duì)長(zhǎng)開(kāi)火。驚奇隊(duì)長(zhǎng)趁機(jī)一躍而起，用指尖對(duì)準(zhǔn)超級(jí)斯克魯爾人發(fā)射能量波！

 

“Rocket’s right!” Drax shouted. He launched himself into the air at the Super Skrull. “You are uglier than me!”

“火箭說(shuō)的沒(méi)錯(cuò)！”德拉克斯咆哮著撲向超級(jí)斯克魯爾人發(fā)動(dòng)攻擊，“你比我丑多了！”

 

As Drax swung his blades at one side of the Super Skrull, Gamora came up on the other side, chopping with her sword!

德拉克斯用刀從一側(cè)攻擊超級(jí)斯克魯爾人，卡魔拉揮劍從另一側(cè)砍來(lái)！

 

“You mess with Star-Lord and you mess with all the Guardians of the Galaxy!” Gamora shouted.

“敢和星爵作對(duì)，就是和我們整個(gè)銀河護(hù)衛(wèi)隊(duì)作對(duì)！”卡魔拉喊道。

 

Peter watched all this with amazement. Even though he’d been so bad to his friends, avoiding them and lying to them, they still didn’t hesitate to help him when he was in trouble.

彼得驚訝地看著這一切。盡管他最近對(duì)朋友們很不好，避開(kāi)他們，欺騙他們，但他們?nèi)匀徊浑x不棄，在他陷入困境時(shí)毫不猶豫地伸出援手。

 

Between the blows from Drax and Gamora and the blasts from Rocket and Captain Marvel, the Super Skrull was on the ground in seconds.

德拉克斯和卡魔拉兩面夾擊，火箭和驚奇隊(duì)長(zhǎng)火力全開(kāi)，幾秒鐘后，超級(jí)斯克魯爾人就被擊倒在地。

 

“Nighty-night,” said Drax as he knocked the alien agent out.

Later, a quick search of Yon-Rogg’s apartment turned up both the real Yon-Rogg, tied up in a closet, and also the pieces of the Ultimate Nullifier that Captain Marvel had come to Knowhere to find. With the Super Skrull now her prisoner, her mission was complete. “The earth is now safe—thanks to you, Peter, and to the other Guardians,” Captain Marvel said.

刻不容緩，他們地毯式搜查了約恩-羅格的公寓，找出了被綁在櫥子里的約恩-羅格本尊，以及驚奇隊(duì)長(zhǎng)此次前來(lái)虛無(wú)知地要找的終極抹除者碎片。既然超級(jí)斯克魯爾人已被俘虜，驚奇隊(duì)長(zhǎng)的任務(wù)也順利完成。“地球安全了——真的要謝謝你，彼得，還有銀河護(hù)衛(wèi)隊(duì)的伙伴們。”驚奇隊(duì)長(zhǎng)連聲道謝。

 

“And thanks to you,” Peter reminded her.

“也謝謝你。”彼得對(duì)她說(shuō)。

 

“I’m headed back now to return these pieces to S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nick Fury,” Captain Marvel said. “I know you’ve been missing earth and feeling homesick. Why don’t you come back with me?”

“我現(xiàn)在得趕緊回去，把這些碎片交給神盾局的尼克·弗瑞局長(zhǎng)，”驚奇隊(duì)長(zhǎng)說(shuō)，“我知道你很想念地球，很想家。為什么不和我一起回去呢？”

 

Peter smiled at this offer.

聽(tīng)到這個(gè)邀請(qǐng)彼得笑了笑沒(méi)說(shuō)話。

 

Nearby, the other Guardians, who had heard everything, turned and walked away.

銀河護(hù)衛(wèi)隊(duì)的小伙伴們?cè)诓贿h(yuǎn)處聽(tīng)到了，轉(zhuǎn)身默默離開(kāi)了。

 

“Well, that’s it,” Rocket said to the others. “We won’t see Quill again.”What do you mean?” Gamora asked. “Even if he goes with her, he ’ll come back soon, I’m sure.”

“好吧，就這樣吧，”火箭說(shuō)，“我們以后都見(jiàn)不到奎爾嘍。”“你什么意思？”卡魔拉問(wèn)，“就算他跟她回去了，很快就會(huì)回來(lái)的，我確定。”

 

“No way,” Rocket said. “Once he gets comfortable on Earth, he’ll have no reason to come back here again.”

“不可能，”火箭堅(jiān)稱，“他要是在地球上待舒服了，才不會(huì)回來(lái)呢。”

 

“It’s bad for us to lose him from the team,” Drax said, “but maybe it’s what’s best for him. He has been unhappy here lately.”

“我們團(tuán)隊(duì)沒(méi)了他可不行啊，”德拉克斯說(shuō)，“但也許這才是對(duì)他最好的安排，畢竟最近他在這兒都不太開(kāi)心。”

 

Later, watching from afar, the Guardians saw Captain Marvel’s ship leave the space dock and head out of Knowhere through one of the skull-shaped station’s eyeholes.

不一會(huì)兒，銀河護(hù)衛(wèi)隊(duì)成員們就從不遠(yuǎn)處看到驚奇隊(duì)長(zhǎng)的飛船從空間站出口起飛，穿過(guò)巨型頭骨的眼窩，離開(kāi)了虛無(wú)知地。

 

“Good-bye, you stinking meat-bag,” Rocket said, waving to the ship. All of the Guardians lowered their heads. They would miss their friend.

“永別了，你這個(gè)臭人類(lèi)。”火箭說(shuō)著，揮手向飛船告別。銀河護(hù)衛(wèi)隊(duì)所有成員都低下了頭。他們一定會(huì)想念他們的朋友的。

 

“It was good knowing you, Quill, even though you smelled like a human.”

“認(rèn)識(shí)你很高興，奎爾，盡管你聞起來(lái)像人類(lèi)。”

 

“Hey, why are you guys acting so weird?” asked a voice behind them.

“咦，你們?cè)趺炊伎雌饋?lái)怪怪的？” 背后傳來(lái)一個(gè)聲音。

 

They turned. It was Peter!

他們一轉(zhuǎn)身，竟然是彼得！

 

“Quill, what are you doing here?” Drax asked.

“奎爾，你怎么在這兒？”德拉克斯驚呆了。

 

“Yeah, we thought you were on that ship for Earth,” Gamora said.

“是啊，我們還以為你乘飛船回地球了呢！”卡魔拉也很激動(dòng)。

 

“What? Why would I be?” Peter asked.

“什么？我為什么要回去??？”彼得一臉茫然。

 

“Because you were all homesick and mopey and everything,” Rocket pointed out.

“因?yàn)槟阕罱敲聪爰遥€老悶悶不樂(lè)的。”火箭說(shuō)。

 

“Well, true,” Peter admitted, looking at them.“I’m sorry I lied to you. But even though I hadn’t been treating you very well, you still were all willing to jump in and risk yourselves to rescue me.” Peter gave them a significant look. “And that. . . is what a family does.”

“好吧，這話的確沒(méi)錯(cuò)，”彼得也承認(rèn)。他認(rèn)真地看著他們說(shuō)：“對(duì)不起，我之前騙了你們。雖然我最近對(duì)你們并不好，但你們還是這么講義氣，冒著生命危險(xiǎn)來(lái)救我。”彼得臉色很莊重，“那個(gè)，家人才會(huì)這么做吧。”

 

“But. . . but. . . Peter. . .” Gamora stammered. “Don’t you want to go home?”

“但是……但是……彼得……”卡魔拉一時(shí)有些語(yǔ)塞，“你難道不想回家嗎？”

 

“You know what I’ve finally figured out, Gamora?” Peter asked. “I’m already home.”

“卡魔拉,你知道我后來(lái)想通了什么嗎？”彼得說(shuō)，“我已經(jīng)在家啦。”

 

They all smiled at each other.

大家都會(huì)心地笑了。

 

“All right, enough with this mushy stuff,” Rocket said, pretending like he was too much of a tough guy to be moved by Peter’s words. “With that settled, let’s go to the Orlani races!”

“好啦，別再這么煽情啦，”火箭做出一副硬漢的樣子，假裝沒(méi)有被彼得的話感動(dòng)，“既然一切都搞定了，那我們一起去看奧洛尼獸賽跑吧！”

 

“I am Groot!” Groot shouted excitedly.

“我是格魯特！”格魯特興奮地叫了出來(lái)

 

That night, their favorite Orlani lost the race, but they didn’t mind. They were together.

那天夜里，他們最喜歡的奧洛尼獸輸了比賽，但他們絲毫不介意。因?yàn)殂y河護(hù)衛(wèi)隊(duì)在一起，一個(gè)也不少。
