1. cheap drunk: （美國(guó)俚語(yǔ)）不勝酒力的人，一喝就醉的人

2. go slow: 減慢速度，也可以表示怠工

例如：The workers often decided to go slow in those days.（在那時(shí)候工人們經(jīng)常怠工。）

3. take advantage of: 這里指占某人的便宜，常用來(lái)指利用，欺騙

He's joining the club in order to take advantage of the others.（他入會(huì)是來(lái)揩油的。）

4. drowse: 打瞌睡

Oh, no! Looks like they catch me drowse.（喔，糟了。他們好像發(fā)覺(jué)我在打瞌睡。）

5. lull: 使安靜； 使入睡

lull也可以用來(lái)表示哄騙；麻痹；使放松警惕

I had been lulled into thinking the publicity would be a trivial matter.（我錯(cuò)誤地相信了媒體的報(bào)道只是小事一樁。）

7. from head to foot: 全身； 從頭到腳

As we entered he wheeled excitedly around and examined Jordan from head to foot.（我們一走進(jìn)去他就興奮地轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)身來(lái)，把喬丹從頭到腳打量了一番。）
