and I work for a large textiles company in Japan.
We manufacture a wide range of textiles
and we employ over 20,000 people
in six different countries.

This graph shows our sales figures for the last five year.
As you can see,
sales have increased steadily over this period.
and last year was a very good year...
VISITOR:A rise of 20% in one year.
That's a very good.
How did you manage that?
Well,we negotiated a new agreement with our trading partners in Singapore,
and this has helped us to increase our sales in this market.
VISITOR:It certainly has.
A 20% increase in sales in one year.
That's a great achievement for a small company like yourselves.
So sales were good last year,
but what about overall profit.
MR NGUYEN:Well,they were good too.
Let me show you another graph.
Now,as you can see,
profits have also increased steadily over the last five years.
Yes.I see last year was a very good year again.
A rise of 15%.
Yes,this was because of the increase in sales in the Singapore market.
but also because of a 30% increase in production.
