M: Is it useful?
C: Yes, indeed. Dance is a song of the body, I tell you. It's addicting! I feel like a new man.

1.在非正式口語(yǔ)中,-ing 常發(fā)生變音,讀作/?n/,于是having 讀作/'hæv?n/。
2.keep fit 意為“健身”。
3.persuade 為雙音節(jié)動(dòng)詞,重讀在后一個(gè)音節(jié)上,讀作/p?'swe?d/。

雙音節(jié)動(dòng)詞的重讀
在英語(yǔ)中,雙音節(jié)動(dòng)詞,尤其是以不發(fā)音的e結(jié)尾或詞尾有連續(xù)出現(xiàn)的輔音字母的雙音節(jié)動(dòng)詞,一般都在后面的音節(jié)上重讀,而這些以不發(fā)音的e結(jié)尾的重讀音節(jié)可以稱(chēng)為詞尾開(kāi)音節(jié)。如:
condemn /k?n'dem/ v. 譴責(zé)
insult /?n's?lt/ v. 侮辱
salute /s?'lu:t/ v. 向……致敬
excuse /?k'skju:s/ v. 原諒
suppose /s?'p??z/ v. 猜想
describe /d?'skra?b/ v. 描寫(xiě)
