大衛(wèi)，你認識林濤嗎?

大衛(wèi): How could I forget him! He was my best friend in my childhood.But we have not seen each other for 5 years.

我怎么能不認識他呢。他可是我兒時最好的朋友。但是我們有五年沒有見面了呢。

約翰: I heard that he hit a stock jackpot last year.

我聽說他去年炒股發(fā)了大財呢。

大衛(wèi): Wow, really? He was always a lucky dog. Both of us were very naughty, but every time he got excuses to avoid the punishment.

大衛(wèi): Come on. I would not like to be a speculator. You may lose all you have.

算了吧，我不想成為投機者。你有可能會失去你的所有。

約翰: You are right. There are no pies dropping from the sky.
