今天的這段對(duì)話，在討論意大利美食，
 
意大利有很多美食，聊一聊當(dāng)?shù)氐奶厣朗?br />  
來(lái)聽(tīng)今天的講解:
 
A: So Marion, now you lived in Italy.
 
瑪里昂，你在意大利生活過(guò)。
 
B: Mm, that's right.
 
沒(méi)錯(cuò)。
 
A: And when people think of Italy, they think of food. (Yes) Yeah, and can you talk about the food in Italy?

B: Sure, I'd love to. I love Italian food.
 
當(dāng)然，我很樂(lè)意。我喜歡意大利美食。
 
A: I know, it's so good.

B: Yeah, well, I suppose everybody thinks immediately of pasta and pizza, right?

A: Right, right, right, right.

B: They're the most, the two most common types of Italian food and they are really good, I mean, there's just no comparison I think to the pasta and the pizza that we get in other countries, also the ice cream actually in Italy is just different from any other country in the world I think. They really, they really have the number one on those three items I think. But apart from that, I mean there's a whole world of Italian food and it's all really, really good. I mean, the first time I lived in Italy I lived in Genoa, so that was by the sea. Obviously there is a lot of seafood involved in the cooking. Um, fish stews and that kind of thing and they were really, really good, also that region around Geneoa is where pesto originated, so you know the basil sauce (oh, yeah) Yeah, that from Ligiuriea, which is the area around Geneoa, so while I lived in Geneoa, I think I must have had some form of a pesto dish, at least once a week, but I loved it. It's one of my favorite tastes, actually, pesto.
 
這是意大利食物中最具代表性的兩種，而且都非常好吃，我覺(jué)得其他國(guó)家的意大利面和比薩都不能與意大利的相提并論，意大利的冰淇淋也和世界上其他國(guó)家的不同。我認(rèn)為意大利的這三種食物在世界上可以排第一。除了這三種食物，意大利還有很多美味的食物。我第一次去意大利生活的時(shí)候，我住在海邊城市熱那亞。所以那里有很多海鮮美味。像燉魚(yú)之類(lèi)的菜非常好吃，熱那亞是意大利松子青醬的產(chǎn)地，你知道羅勒醬來(lái)自Ligiuriea，那是熱那亞附近的一個(gè)地區(qū)，我住在熱那亞的時(shí)候，我想每周至少要吃一道用松子青醬做的料理，我非常喜歡。松子青醬是我最?lèi)?ài)的味道之一。
 
A: Yeah, pesto's great.
 
是啊，松子青醬非常好吃。
 
B: Yeah, yeah, you can add it to anything and it tastes great. I put it on my sandwiches sometimes.

A: Really.

B: Yeah. Yeah, so Italian food, it's quite difficult to talk about Italian food really because in Italy there are so many different regions, so all over the country each region has it's own special dish, or special dishes, so the food can really vary from the North to the South, in the north for example, in some areas you can find food that's more like german food or in the south it's more mediteraran like greek food for example. It tends that direction.
 
對(duì)，其實(shí)很難去談?wù)撘獯罄拿朗?，因?yàn)橐獯罄性S多不同的區(qū)，意大利這個(gè)國(guó)家的每個(gè)區(qū)域都有特色菜，所以北部和南部的食物可能非常不同，舉例來(lái)說(shuō)，意大利北部有些地區(qū)的美食非常類(lèi)似德國(guó)菜，而南部的美食則更像希臘等地中海國(guó)家的特色菜。因?yàn)橐獯罄喜勘容^接近地中海。
