　　【譯文】盡管一些男人喜歡孩子且有大量與孩子相處的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，但是很多父親不會對孩子表示特別的關(guān)心，也很少與孩子相處。

　　【析句】本句的主干由主句和although引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句構(gòu)成，主句others do not particlularly care for...and spend..., although引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句中，主句there are some men,who lie children and may have...為定語從句修飾some men。

　　2. It is argued by some writers that the transition to the father's role, although difficult, is not nearly as great as the transition the wife must make to the mother's role. (1994. 閱讀. Text 2)

　　【譯文】一些作家認(rèn)為，盡管男人成為父親這一角色的轉(zhuǎn)變十分困難，卻比不上妻子變成母親的角色轉(zhuǎn)變大。

　　【析句】主句It is argued by...that,it作形式主語，真正的主語是that引導(dǎo)的主句從句，也是本復(fù)合句的重點(diǎn)。主句從句中，主句為the transition to the father's role is not as great as the transition...,運(yùn)用了as...as..的否定形式。從句有兩個(gè)，第一個(gè)是although difficult是省略了it is的讓步狀語從句，第二個(gè)是the wife must make to the mother's role作定語從句修飾transition.

　　【譯文】然而，即使事實(shí)上在外工作的女性人數(shù)與日俱增，但多數(shù)人仍認(rèn)為父親才是真正養(yǎng)家糊口的人。

　　【析句】例句3與例句1的結(jié)構(gòu)相似，都是由主句和even though引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句構(gòu)成。主句the father is thought by...as...,even though從句中，主句為we mentioned the fact, that引導(dǎo)同位語從句growing numbers of women are working...。
