中國功夫，也叫"武術(shù)"，是中國人民在長期的歷史發(fā)展中創(chuàng)造的運(yùn)動(dòng)項(xiàng)目。估計(jì)中國武術(shù)的起源可以追溯到原始社會(huì)。那時(shí)的人類用棍棒作為武器抵御野生動(dòng)物，獲得了一些防守和進(jìn)攻經(jīng)驗(yàn)，在商代，圍場狩獵應(yīng)運(yùn)而生，并被視為武術(shù)訓(xùn)練的重要途徑。商周時(shí)期，武術(shù)是一種舞蹈形式。"功夫舞蹈"是用來訓(xùn)練士兵，鼓舞士氣的。據(jù)說，華佗創(chuàng)造的"五禽戲"是中華武術(shù)的起源。

Chinese Kungfu, also called "martial art", is a sport item created by the Chinese people during a long time of historical development. It is generally estimated that the origin of Chinese martial arts can be traced back to the primitive society. At that time human beings fought wild animals with clubs as their weapon, and thus acquired some experience on defense and attack. In the Shang Dynasty field hunting came into being and was further regarded as an important way of martial art training. During the period of Shang and Zhou Dynasties, martial art was a form of dancing. "Martial dance" was used to train the soldiers and boost their morale. It is said that the "Five Animals Play" first created by Hua Tuo is the origin of Chinese martial arts.
