　　王昭君是中國(guó)歷史上的一個(gè)真實(shí)人物。西漢時(shí)期，為了取得漢朝政府的支持，匈奴人(Hun)請(qǐng)求與漢朝政府和親(marriage alliance)。王昭君聽說后，請(qǐng)求嫁到匈奴部落。她勸說匈奴人減少戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)，并把漢族的文化傳給他們，匈奴人民和漢朝人民和睦相處了60年。王昭君圓滿完成了“漢匈和親”的偉大使命，對(duì)當(dāng)時(shí)民族關(guān)系的緩和做出了積極的貢獻(xiàn)。她是實(shí)現(xiàn)民族團(tuán)結(jié)、促進(jìn)社會(huì)和諧的典范，兩千年來一直為各族人民所稱頌。

During the Western Han Dynasty, in order to obtain the support of the Han government, Huns sought a marriage alliance with the Han government.Wang Zhaojun heard of the news and requested to get married to the Hun tribe. She persuaded Hun people to reduce wars and spread the culture of Han nationality to them, so that the Hun people and the people of the Han Dynasty lived in peace for 60 years. 　　1.因?yàn)橥跽丫且呀?jīng)逝去的人物，因此在翻譯時(shí)，時(shí)態(tài)以一般過去時(shí)為主。

　　2.“她勸說匈奴人減少戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)，并把漢族的文化傳給他們”與“匈奴人民和漢朝人民和睦相處了60年”之間含有因果關(guān)系，因而使用so that連接，顯示其中的邏輯關(guān)系。

　　3.在“對(duì)當(dāng)時(shí)民族關(guān)系的緩和做出了積極的貢獻(xiàn)”中，漢語(yǔ)中“緩和”是名詞，翻譯時(shí)可將其動(dòng)詞化，用英文ease 表達(dá)，這樣更符合英語(yǔ)表達(dá)習(xí)慣。

　　4.“兩千年來一直為各族人民所稱頌”是“她是實(shí)現(xiàn)民族團(tuán)結(jié)、促進(jìn)社會(huì)和諧的典范”的結(jié)果，所以用so連接，表示暗含的邏輯關(guān)系。
